PARKING OPTIONS RACE DAY

COMPETITOR, SPECTATOR, SUPPORTER and EVENT TEAM PARKING - RACE WEEKEND

Saturday - for Registration (12pm-4pm)/ compulsory briefing (4.30pm-5.00pm)
Limited parking will be available near the Geelong Yacht Club/Sailing School area (west end of Ritchie Boulevard ). Alternatively competitors are advised to park to the eastern area of the Ironman Village (Eastern Beach Reserve) up along Hearne Parade or in the streets "above" Ironman Village - eg Bellerine, Swanston, Fitzroy and Garden Streets and other side streets in this area.

The free carpark (known as the Park and Ride) above Hearne Pde is also available.

Sunday - Race Day
Competitors are advised to park on Hearne Parade and Podbury Crescent in the Botanical Gardens area on Race morning. The free Carpark above Hearne Pde (known as the Park and Ride) is also available. Please note that Hearne Pde and the Park and Ride carpark will be closed at 6.30am and is used for the run leg. Cars parked in these areas will be locked in until the race finishes - ie these roads re-open at 2.30pm

Parking is also available in side streets at the top of Eastern Beach Reserve - there is plenty of street parking in Bellerine, Swanston, Fitzroy and Gardens Streets and other side streets in this area.

Parking Stations - Sunday 7 February - Race Day

Harding Park Car Park (corner Bellerine St and Brougham St )
Open from 5.00am (250 spots)
Cost - $4 all day rate

Deakin University Waterfront Campus Car Park
Parking Station - entry on Smythe Street (off Gheringhap Street )

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD COMPETITORS AND/OR SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT TO ACCESS AND/OR PARK ON EASTERN BEACH ROAD OR ANY PARTS OF THE BIKE COURSE. COMPETITORS BEING DROPPED OFF CANNOT DO THIS IN EASTERN BEACH ROAD. ACCESS TO THE CAR PARK (PARK AND RIDE) IS ONLY POSSIBLE FROM GARDEN STREET AND THERE IS NO LEFT TURN INTO EASTERN BEACH ROAD FOR DROP OFF.
